The proposal of Round 9 Health System Strengthening (HSS) cross-cutting intervention for funding for the initial two years (phase 1 term) contingent was informed and approved by the Global Fund on 10 November 2009 upon the satisfactory completion of the Global Fund Technical Review Panel (TRP).
